The tearing of the strong, thick veil was no ordinary miracle. It wasn't just a display of power; it taught us deep truths. The old law was set aside like a worn garment. When Jesus died, He completed all sacrifices, marking the place of their presentation as decayed. This tear exposed the hidden things of the old covenant: the mercy seat is revealed, and God's glory shines forth.

Through Jesus's death, we now have a clear revelation of God. Life and immortality are revealed, things long hidden are now clear in Him. The annual atonement ceremony is abolished. The blood sprinkled yearly within the veil is now replaced by the once-for-all offering of our great High Priest. Jesus entered with His own blood; the blood of animals is no longer needed.

We now have access to God, a privilege for every believer in Christ. The tear in the veil reaches from top to bottom, allowing us to boldly approach God. It shows that our Lord’s death opened paradise to all believers. Our crucified Lord holds heaven's key; He opens, and no one can shut. Let's join Him in the heavenly places and wait until our enemies become His footstool.
