In Jeremiah's time, God's people were shamed when outsiders entered the Holy Place meant only for priests. Today, we see similar reasons for sorrow. Many who don't know God are training to become ministers. Our entire population is expected to be part of a National Church, which is a lie. It's alarming that we ask the unconverted to participate in holy ordinances. Even in our most enlightened churches, discipline is weak.

If everyone who reads this reflects on it and prays, Jesus will act to prevent harm from coming to His Church. Diluting the Church is like polluting a well, extinguishing a fire, or filling a fertile field with rocks. Let's keep the Church as it should be: a gathering of true believers, not a group of unconverted people.

We must start by looking at our own hearts. Are we worthy to take communion? Are we wearing our wedding garments, or are we intruding in God's sanctuary? Many are called, but few are chosen; the path is narrow and the gate is tight.

We need grace to approach Jesus with true faith. God was serious when He punished Uzzah for touching the ark. He is equally serious about His ordinances today. As believers, we may come freely; as outsiders, we must stay away or risk death. All who are baptized or take communion should pray, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Test me and know my concerns."

Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, as dawn breaks, help us to trust You fully, even when we don't see the way. In Your name, Amen.
