March 21

When we feel proud of our abilities, nature quickly reminds us how small we really are. We can't move even one star or dim a single ray of morning light. We talk big about power, but the heavens mock us. As spring brings the Pleiades' cheerful glow, we can't stop their influence. When Orion stands in winter's chill, we can't melt the icy grip.

Seasons change by God's command, beyond all human control. Who are we before Him? Our spiritual limits are just as real. When the Holy Spirit fills a soul with joy, nothing can disrupt it. Human schemes can't stop the comforting and life-giving Spirit.

If God revives a church, even the fiercest foes can't hinder the work. They might laugh, but they can't stop the return of spring under the Pleiades. God's will is unstoppable. If He chooses to bind a soul, who can set it free?

Only He can end spiritual death's winter for a person or a people. Just as He unlocks Orion's icy hold, only He can bring life. How amazing it is that He can do it. May He do it tonight.

Lord, break my winter and let my spring start. I can't lift myself from death and dullness, but with You, all things are possible. I need Your divine love, grace, and light. Sin and temptation weigh on me, like winter’s dark signs. Lord, work wonders in me and for me. Amen.

Closing Prayer

Lord, as this day closes, fill us with Your love so we can share it freely. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
