Daily Spurgeon Support
For help with the Daily Spurgeon mobile app, email hello@dailyspurgeon.app. Please include your device type, app version, and a brief description of what happened. Do not include private journal text.
Email supportApp and internet help
- Confirm that Wi-Fi or cellular data is working.
- If you use a VPN, content filter, or restricted network, try a different connection.
- Close and reopen Daily Spurgeon, then use any available Retry action.
- Install the latest available app update and restart your device if the problem continues.
Devotional or sermon content
Devotional and sermon text is fetched from Daily Spurgeon's Supabase service. A network connection is required for content that is not already cached on your device.
- Check your connection and try loading the page again.
- If only one item is affected, send support its title or date so we can investigate without needing your journal content.
- If content was available before but is not loading now, avoid clearing app storage until you have preserved any local journal entries you want to keep.
Audio troubleshooting
- Audio is available only when a Listen or audio control appears; not every sermon currently has audio.
- Confirm your internet connection, media volume, silent/Focus settings, and Bluetooth output.
- Pause and play again, disconnect an unexpected Bluetooth device, or close and reopen the app.
- If one recording fails repeatedly, email its devotional date or sermon title to support.
Reminders
- Enable the morning or evening reminder in Daily Spurgeon Settings and allow notifications when your device asks.
- Check the selected time, your device's notification permission, and Focus or Do Not Disturb settings.
- Toggle the reminder off and back on to reschedule it. Reminders in version 1 are scheduled locally on your device.
Privacy and your data
Daily Spurgeon version 1 has no mobile accounts. Journal entries, streak data, preferences, and reminder settings stay on your device. Newsletter signup is optional and separate from the app.
