April 1

April is named for the Latin word aperio, meaning to open, as nature comes alive with buds and blossoms. If you haven't accepted Christ, let your heart open to Him like the world around you. Each new flower is a reminder that it's time to seek the Lord. Don’t stay out of harmony with creation; let your heart bloom with holy desires.

Does the vitality of youth run through you? Offer your strength to God. I found joy in His calling in my youth and praise Him daily for it. Salvation is beyond value at any age, but finding Jesus early in life has even greater richness.

Young or old, none are promised tomorrow. If you notice the first signs of aging, let them be urgent warnings. Those first gray hairs or that persistent cough could be reminders: it’s time to seek the Lord. As the years pass quickly, let each spring urge you to prepare your heart.

If you're older now, don't wait any longer. You have a chance now—thank God for it—but it's not endless, and time is running out. As I write to you at this month's beginning, I urge you with all sincerity, "It's time to seek the Lord." Don’t ignore this message; it may be your last chance to find grace.

Closing Prayer

Lord, in this quiet moment, thank You for the grace that meets us where we are. Help us seek You with open hearts. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
