Why are you weeping, Christian? Are you troubled by your own shortcomings? Look to your perfect Lord and remember, you're complete in Him. In God's eyes, you're as flawless as if you'd never sinned. More than that, the Lord our Righteousness has clothed you in a divine garment, giving you more than human righteousness—you have the righteousness of God.
If you're mourning because of sin within, remember, none of your sins can condemn you. You've learned to hate sin, but you also know that it's not yours anymore—it was placed on Christ. Your standing isn't based on yourself, but in Christ. Your acceptance isn't about who you are, but who your Lord is. You're as accepted by God today, with all your flaws, as you will be when you stand before His throne free from all sin. Cling to this precious truth: you're perfect in Christ!
You're complete in Him. With your Savior's robe upon you, you're as holy as the Holy One. "Who condemns? It's Christ who died and rose again, who is at God's right hand and intercedes for us." Rejoice, Christian, for you're accepted in the beloved—what do you have to fear? Keep a joyful heart, live close to your Master, dwell near the gates of Heaven. Soon, when your time comes, you'll rise where Jesus is and reign at His side because the divine Lord became sin for us, so we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Closing Prayer
