It's humbling, but true: we're all suffering from the disease of sin. What a comfort to know we have a great Physician, ready and able to heal us! Let's think about Him tonight. His cures are swift. There's life in a single look at Him. His healing is thorough, going straight to the cause of our ailment, and it's certain.

Christ never fails, and the disease doesn't come back. There's no relapse where He heals; no chance of His patients being merely patched up for a season. He transforms them completely, giving them a new heart and a right spirit. He knows every disease.

Typically, doctors specialize in something, even if they know a bit about many ailments. But Jesus understands all of human nature. He's at home with every sinner and has never encountered a case too hard for Him. He handles complicated conditions with ease, knowing with a single glance how to heal.

He's the only universal doctor. The medicine He offers heals every time. Whatever our spiritual sickness, we should turn to this Divine Physician. There's no heartache He can't mend. "His blood cleanses from all sin." Think of the countless people who've been healed through His touch. Let's joyfully put ourselves in His care. When we trust Him, sin dies; when we love Him, grace thrives. As we wait for Him, grace strengthens. Seeing Him as He is, grace becomes perfect forever.
