If the young man in the gospel used this title to address our Lord, I should too. Jesus is truly my Master, ruler, and teacher. I love to serve Him and learn from Him. Being both His servant and disciple is my greatest honor.

If He were to ask why I call Him "good," my answer is ready. While it's true that only God is truly good, Jesus is God, and His divine goodness shines brightly. He has shown me so much goodness. When I was lost in sin, He raised me by His Spirit. He's been good to me through every need, trial, struggle, and sorrow.

No one could ask for a better Master. His service is freedom, His rule is love. I wish I could serve Him even a thousandth as well. As my Teacher, He is incredibly good, His teachings divine and gentle. There's no error in His instruction, only pure truth. All His teachings guide us to goodness, helping us grow and become holy. Even angels find joy in serving Him.

Throughout history, believers have known Him as a good Master and rejoiced to serve Him. I am eager to share this with those around me. Perhaps my testimony will lead others to seek Jesus as their Master. I pray they will, because they'd never regret such a choice. Taking His gentle yoke will lead them into a service they'd choose forever.
