Can you find peace apart from Christ? If so, your faith may be empty. Are you content without intimately knowing your connection to Christ? That's a warning sign.

If you claim to be a Christian but are fully satisfied with worldly pleasures, your claim is false. If you rest comfortably in sinful pleasures, see this as a serious warning about your relationship with Christ. However, if sin disturbs you—even without punishment—and the thought of having everything except God feels miserable, take heart. Your soul longs for God, which shows you belong to Him. Despite your imperfections, if sin brings you no rest, you're different from the sinner.

If you're yearning for something more, Christ remembers you. A believer can't live without Jesus. Mere words can't capture our need for Him. We can't live on worldly things; we need the heavenly provisions, the sustenance only Christ gives. When you rely on Him, your soul sings with joy and refreshment. But without Him, even overflowing riches leave you empty, and you'll echo, "Everything is pointless, mere vapor!"

Closing Prayer

Lord, as this day ends, help us trust You fully, even when we can't see the way forward. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
