God calls us to encourage one another. He didn't send an angel to lift Joshua's spirits as he led the people into Canaan. God doesn't do miracles when they aren't needed. Moses, with his experience, was better suited for the task than an angel.
A brother's sympathy is more valuable than an angel's mission. An angel may know God's commands better but hasn't walked the difficult roads, faced the snakes, or led a stubborn crowd through the wilderness like Moses did. We should be grateful God often uses people to help people.
This creates a sense of brotherhood, drawing us closer as one family. Hear this as God's message to you. Work to help and encourage others. Speak cheerfully to the young and those searching for answers. Gently remove obstacles from their path.
When you see a hint of grace in someone, nurture it until it grows into a flame. Let them gradually learn about life's challenges, but remind them of God's strength, His promises, and the joy of walking with Christ. Comfort the sorrowful and lift the discouraged. Share timely words with the weary and urge the fearful to keep moving forward joyfully. God encourages you through His promises, Christ shows you heaven's rewards, and the Spirit stirs you to action and faith. Follow divine wisdom and offer encouragement, just as today's message advises.
Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, as we pause in this quiet moment, help us place our full trust in You, even when the way ahead is unclear. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
