The truth of a risen Savior is incredibly valuable. The resurrection is the foundation of Christianity. It's the heart of our salvation. From this single event, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, flows so much life-giving truth.

But knowing He is risen, and sharing in fellowship with Him by living a renewed life, carries even more worth. This is about leaving behind worldly ways, just as He left the tomb. The doctrine is vital, but experiencing fellowship with the risen Savior is even more beautiful. Believe in the resurrection and draw strength from it. Yet, don't stop there.

Even if you can't see Him like the disciples did, aim to see Christ with eyes of faith. You might not physically touch Him like Mary Magdalene, but you can converse with Him and know He lives, while you live a new life in Him. Knowing a crucified Savior who took on your sin is profound. But knowing a risen Savior who justifies you and offers you new life as a new creation is extraordinary. Strive for this experience. Why should those made alive in Jesus wear the old clothes of worldliness and doubt? Rise up, for the Lord is risen.
