December 20

God is a generous paymaster. He rewards His servants as they work and when they finish. One of the rewards is a clear conscience. If you've faithfully shared Jesus with someone, you can find peace at night knowing you've honored God. There's real joy in working for Jesus. What a blessing to add jewels to His crown and see the fruits of His sacrifice! Watching someone's heart soften towards God is a wonderful blessing.

In your class, if you notice a girl showing tenderness, you might hope you see God's work beginning in her. If a boy says something that reveals a deeper understanding of divine truth, it brings joy and hope. But the joy of seeing real spiritual success is beyond words.

This joy ignites a hunger for more. Being a soul-winner is the happiest pursuit in the world. Every soul brought to Christ is a taste of heaven on earth. Yet, how can we even imagine the joy of heaven waiting for us?

How sweet it will be to hear, "Enter into the joy of your Lord!" Do you realize how joyful Christ is over a saved sinner? That joy is what we'll share in heaven. When He takes the throne, we'll be with Him. When the heavens ring with "Well done," we'll share in the reward: having toiled, suffered, and reigned with Him. As we've sown with Him, we'll also reap with Him. Our faces will shine with heavenly glory, our souls filled with His immense joy.

Closing Prayer

Father, as evening comes, help us trust You fully even when the path isn't clear. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
