December 28

When the Lord, in His mercy, saw us in our helpless state, He first said, "Live." Life is essential in spiritual matters. Without it, we're unable to engage with God's kingdom. The life believers receive is Christ's own life. Like sap flowing into branches, it creates a living connection between our souls and Jesus. Faith recognizes this union because it's born from it.

Faith is the link that connects the Church to Christ, our Head. It holds tightly to Jesus, aware of His worth, refusing to trust in anything else. Christ cherishes this faith, continually strengthening it with His eternal support. This union brings love, confidence, and joy, experienced by both Christ and the believer. When we sense this oneness with Christ, our hearts beat together, sharing one life. In this state, we're closest to heaven on earth, ready for the deepest fellowship with Him.

Closing Prayer

Father, as we begin this day, help us trust You completely, even when the way is unclear. For Your glory, Amen.
