May 18

All the attributes of Christ, both as God and man, are available to us. The fullness of the Godhead is ours to make us complete. While He can't give us the attributes of Deity, He has done everything possible to make His divine power serve our salvation. His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, unchanging nature, and infallibility all work for our defense.

Rise up, believer, and see Jesus using His divine power in the chariot of salvation. His grace is vast, His faithfulness firm, His power infinite, and His knowledge limitless. All these qualities support the structure of our salvation and are promised to us as our eternal inheritance. The deep love of the Savior's heart belongs to us.

Every muscle of strength, every jewel of majesty, the depths of divine knowledge, and the steadfastness of divine justice are ours and will be used for our benefit. All of Christ, in His wondrous nature as the Son of God, is given to us for our joy. His wisdom guides us, His knowledge teaches us, His power protects us, His justice assures us, His love comforts us, His mercy soothes us, and His unchanging nature anchors us. He holds nothing back, but invites us to uncover the treasures in God's mountain. "All of this is yours," He says, "be content with God's favor and full of His goodness." How sweet it is to see Jesus and to call on Him, knowing that when we seek His love or power, we're asking for what He has already promised.

Closing Prayer

God, as we begin today, help us trust You completely, even when the way isn't clear. In Jesus' name, Amen.
