June 15

It defied nature’s laws for the elderly Sarah to have a son. In the same way, it's beyond belief that I, a helpless sinner, would be graced with the Spirit of the Lord Jesus within me. My soul, once barren and hopeless, now bears the fruit of holiness. My heart bursts with laughter and joy at the wondrous grace I've received, for Jesus, the promised Savior, is mine forever.

Today, I'll sing songs of triumph to the Lord who lifted me from my lowly state. "My heart rejoices in the Lord; my spirit is lifted by His salvation." I want everyone who hears of my deliverance to join me in joy. I hope to surprise my family with peace, delight my friends with happiness, uplift the Church with gratitude, and show the world the cheerfulness of my life. Mercy laughed in her sleep, dreaming of Jesus. My joy will not fall short while He fills my thoughts. The Lord Jesus is a sea of joy, and my soul will dive deeply into His presence. Sarah looked at her Isaac and laughed in delight, and so will my heart look to Jesus, inviting all to join in my joyful praise.

Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, at the break of dawn, ground our hope in Your steadfast promises. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
