Notice the incredible generosity of Jesus. He gave us everything. Even a small portion of his wealth would be enough to enrich a universe of angels beyond imagination, yet he was not satisfied until he gave us all he had. It would have been amazing if he let us simply have the leftovers of his mercy. But Jesus doesn't do things halfway. He brings us to his table to share the feast.
If he had given us just a small amount from his treasures, we would still love him forever. But he wants his bride to be as rich as he is. He ensures we share in all his glory and grace. He made us joint-heirs, sharing equally with him. Jesus poured everything he has into the Church, holding nothing back from his followers.
There's no part of his kingdom he'll keep from us. He invites us to claim everything as our own and encourages us to take as much as we can. His endless abundance is as available to believers as the air we breathe. Jesus offers us his love and grace and tells us to drink freely and forever.
Even if we could consume it all, he tells us to enjoy it, and since we can't drain it, he invites us to drink deeply. What greater proof of fellowship is there in heaven or on earth? When we stand before the throne, clothed not in our own righteousness, and see Jesus as he is, loving him with a pure heart, only then will we understand how much we owe him.
Closing Prayer
Lord, as this day begins, guide us to trust You completely, even when the path isn't clear. For Your glory, Amen.
