Some seek to know if they're chosen by God before turning to Christ, but you'll only find this assurance by looking to Jesus. If you want to know your election, start here: Admit to Jesus your guilt and need. Go to the cross, tell Him you're a sinner, and remind Him of His promise: "Whoever comes to me, I will never drive away." Trust in His word that He came to save sinners. Look to Jesus and believe. In doing so, you'll confirm your election, for your faith shows you're chosen.

Give yourself completely to Christ and trust Him. Then you'll know you're among God's chosen. Don't get stuck wondering about your election first. Go to Jesus, no matter how guilty you feel, just as you are. Forget your questions and rest in His wounds. Here, you'll find assurance through the Holy Spirit, so you can declare, "I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him." Christ knows if you were chosen at the beginning of time. Entrust yourself to Him, and He'll tell you, "I've loved you with an everlasting love." There will be no doubt of your election when you have chosen Him. "We are sons through God's election, who in Jesus Christ believe."
